What is a TMJ?
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is the hinge-like joint that connects your jaw to your skull, allowing you to open and close your mouth, chew, and speak. When this joint becomes misaligned or stressed, it can lead to a variety of issues known as TMJ disorders.

Meet Dr. Eddie Rodgers
Originally from Batesburg, SC, Dr. Rodgers grew up in Lexington County and always knew that he wanted to return to the area to raise his family and eventually to practice dentistry. His enthusiasm for the dental profession and his care for others is evident in the gracious, empathetic manner in which he treats all of his patients. Dr. Rodgers’ dedication to a high standard of healthcare is the foundation upon which Northwood Dental Associates is built.
